The Guild will build a new world class venue for Inverclyde in 2012.
This is your chance to help make one of the most exciting cultural developments in Scotland happen. We have so little left to raise and have come so far from when we first started on this project. The theatre we plan to open for you will have two auditoria: one of 500 seats and a second of around 130. It will also have a cafe bar, meeting and conference rooms.
This is no ordinary theatre – it will be as good as, if not better than, anything of its type in any major European centre, with spectacular views across the Clydeside to the hills from its site on Customhouse Quay.
We will bring you the very best in entertainment from home-grown talent to international acts encompassing everything from drama and opera, dance and music to comedy, jazz and beyond. We will also invest in opportunities for children, schools and youth groups to participate in the arts and education, to develop their skills and discover their talents.
This will be the biggest, and the best, arts centre in the West of Scotland outside Glasgow and it’s for you: the Guild’s existing 100,000 patrons a year and the new users we want to attract.
So please help us make something really amazing happen in Inverclyde.
Please email bookings@artsguildtheatre.co.uk for details of our donation options.
We can’t do it without you!

TAKE A SEAT IN THE BEACON
We are offering our patrons a unique opportunity to purchase a brand new seat in our main auditorium and, for the next decade, have it named in their honour, or in honour of a friend or loved one, by mounting a plaque affixed to the back of the seat, containing the desired name.
Each seat will cost:
£500 if paid in a lump sum
£600 if paid as a direct debit of £10 per month for 60 months
In return, a seat in the Main Auditorium will bear a plaque for ten years with an inscription which you can dedicate to yourself or a loved one, or to show your organisation or business’s support for the future.
So buy now and help us make something really amazing!
