25 June to 1 July 2012
Be part of the celebration of the Arts Guild!
Late 40’s and early 50’s Britain was full of glamour and glitz. War was behind us and people looked forward to a new world order and a spirit of internationalism enjoyed through the arts. In Campbell Street, Greenock the Wallace Bennett opened in 1949 followed by the Arts Guild Theatre in 1955.
This June we will honour the Arts Guild’s 65 year history with a week of performances which take us back in time with music, theatre, dance and movies from the theatre’s early days.
There are many ways to be involved, you can submit an idea for you to perform, vote for the movies you’d like to see, book for a performance and set up a stall at our Vintage Fair.
